Supply Constraints & Pricing Update (IT Industry-Wide)
The global IT industry is facing ongoing supply constraints and pricing fluctuations, largely driven by surging AI demand and manufacturers prioritizing advanced, high-margin products. This is affecting components like memory, SSDs, and high-performance networking gear across all major vendors—not just HPE.
As a result, delivery timelines and pricing for compute, hybrid cloud, and networking solutions may vary. Quote validity windows are now shortened to 14 days, and some pricing may adjust up until shipment. The upside: orders can still be canceled any time before shipment to keep flexibility on your side.
Best practices right now:
• Engage early on key projects
• Request separate quotes for compute and storage
• Consider financing options or certified pre-owned equipment
The situation is moving fast, and transparency is the goal. If you’re planning projects, now’s the time to coordinate closely and plan ahead.
We’ll keep sharing updates as things evolve.
